Miguel Rivera

Managing Principal

 

Mr. Rivera has more than 26 years of experience in the hotel and real estate industries. He plays a leading role in setting Willow Street Capital’s investment strategy and implementing it by sourcing and structuring new deals, and executing ground-up developments. Previously, as part of WSC’s partnership with Opterra Capital, Mr. Rivera served as Chief Investment Officer, overseeing the financial strategy and analysis across the Opterra portfolio. During his career, he has worked on more than $1 billion worth of real estate transactions, valued more than $12 billion worth of commercial real estate, and asset-managed more than 30 hotels and multifamily properties with a total of more than 6,000 rooms/units. He has held senior roles at HVS, JLL Hotels, S&P, and a prominent family office.

 

Mr. Rivera holds an MBA from Yale, a BS in Hotel Administration from Cornell, and a Diploma in Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia.

 

 

 

 

Naomi Mirsky

Managing Principal

 

Ms. Mirsky has overseen the renovation and development of more than 20 hotel projects worth over $3 billion. With more than 26 years of experience in hotel development, design, construction, project management and sustainability, she leads Willow Street Capital’s development, design, and construction management activities. Previously, as part of WSC’s partnership with Opterra Capital, Ms. Mirsky served as Chief Development Officer, overseeing development and renovation initiatives across the portfolio. Earlier in her career, she held senior roles with DLJ/Credit Suisse and Morgan’s Hotel Group, Starwood Hotels, and Denihan Hospitality.

 

Ms. Mirsky holds an MBA from Cornell, an MA from the University of London, and a BA from Boston University.
